- Location data, only when you choose the "use my location" feature.
- City search queries entered by you in the app.
- Local storage for cached prayer data and interface preferences.
- Basic analytics provided by Vercel on the website version, when available.
Why this data is used
- To calculate or retrieve prayer times for your selected city.
- To resolve your current city from device location, when requested by you.
- To improve loading speed with local caching.
- To understand general usage of the web app.
Third-party services
Salaaaaat may contact these services to provide features:
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim, for city search and reverse geocoding.
- TimeAPI, for timezone lookup when selecting a city in a multi-timezone country.
- Vercel Analytics, for basic website analytics.
Local storage
The app stores limited information in browser or device local storage, such as cached prayer results and installation prompt state. This data stays on your device and is not linked to a user account.
Accounts and personal data
Salaaaaat does not require account creation, does not provide in-app purchases, and does not intentionally sell personal data.
Children
Salaaaaat is a general audience utility app and is not specifically directed at children.
